This technical document outlines the processing characteristics of XAREC™ (SPS), including flowability, thermal stability during cylinder residence, shrinkage behavior, dimensional stability, and recommended injection molding conditions.

The first half compares the molding behavior of XAREC™ with other resins, mainly for glass-fiber-reinforced grades, using melt viscosity, spiral flow, thermal stability during cylinder residence, and MD/TD shrinkage anisotropy. The second half summarizes practical processing parameters such as predrying conditions, cylinder temperature, injection pressure and speed, mold temperature, molding cycle, and standard molding conditions, making it a useful technical reference for production settings.
